Clenbuterol is used by athletes to improve their performance

Clenbuterol, also called “clen,” is considered a performance-enhancing drug. It is banned in most athletic competitions. Clenbuterol is on the banned drugs lists of both the International Olympic Committee and the World Anti-Doping Agency.

What is Clenbuterol?

Clenbuterol, a medication that is selectively beta-2 agonist/antagonist as well as bronchodilator, is one type of medication. It relaxes the smooth muscle tissue which makes up the airways, allowing for easier breathing.

The United States Food and Drug Administration approved liquid clenbuterol for only veterinarians. They may prescribe it to horses suffering from obstructive or other lung diseases.

Albuterol is available under many different brand names, such as Proventil, Ventolin, and Accuneb. Albuterol is available in inhalers that can be used to inhale the medication through the mouth.

What is clenbuterol?

Clenbuterol buy stimulates the heart and central nervous systems. It exerts a similar effect as epinephrine or amphetamines on the body.

It also acts as a beta-2-agonist which is the opposite to a beta-blocker. Clenbuterol will increase the amount of epinephrine, noradrenaline and other beta-blockers.

This will have a number of consequences, including:

  • Rapid fat loss
  • Excitability
  • Nervousness
  • Increased energy
  • greater determination

What is the purpose of clenbuterol?

Clenbuterol was originally used as an asthma drug. The drug is now being used by bodybuilders, athletes, and people who want to lose weight.

Clenbuterol is a good weight loss aid as it can increase metabolism. It can also help reduce body fat and weight while allowing the user to maintain both muscle mass as well as body strength.

Clenbuterol was a celebrity diet secret due to its use by famous athletes and celebrities.

Clenbuterol’s positive effects are generally temporary and short-lived.

Side Effects and Risks

It is not known what the effects of clenbuterol are on athletes who have taken the drug for a prolonged period of time. It is known that clenbuterol affects the muscles of the lungs and is also taken up by other tissues.

Studies in animals have shown that clenbuterol may cause apoptosis (the death of normal cells) in the muscles. This includes the heart muscle muscles. Horses with cardiac problems should be euthanized.

Athletes who chooses to rely on a banned performance-enhancing drug are risking being caught for cheating. They could also be putting their health at risk.
